One moment he was speeding for his and his friends’ lives and now...
He found out that ghost that wanted to kill him was Lewis. So many questions rushed to Arthur’s head; questions that wracked his mind for answers he couldn’t provide.
How did he die?
When did he die?
Did it hurt?
Was it slow?
Who killed him...?
But the second those questions came, he had been falling; thrown into a pit of spies by his best friend. Why? WHY?
It hurt so bad feeling those jagged rocks piercing through him, slamming his head into the rocky ground between the rocks sending his metal arm flying away upon impact. Arthur couldn’t see it but he felt his blood soaking his body, the slowing of his heart beat, his body in complete useless shock that didn’t allow for a scream or agonizing struggle. His only saving grace would be his mind growing fuzzy and fainting from blood loss as his body ceased to function.
The only thing that repeated in his mind was: Why...Why did Lewis kill him? Weren’t they friends? Did he hate him..?
He knew it, Lewis did hate him-- All those lies he fed him for years. He wanted to get rid of him and whatever gave him those powers gave him the chance--
Rage filled the mechanic as his vision turned into a murky black...but in a split second was replaced by sorrow...
The heart that had been lanced from his chest glowed a dull grey before hardening into a locket, sealing the blond’s spirit to the earth rather than passing over. His feelings of rage didn’t rebirth him but rather his pain...
❛❛ U̓ͦ̅͡g̈̔ͥ̆͑ͤḩͬ.͆.͗ͮͭ͜.͐͋͗ͥ͒ͦ̈ ❜❜ came a voice traced with static as Arthur sat up from his departed body, fingers rubbing at his skull---
His green heart jolted, skipping a few beats before flying into palpitations as Arthur looked himself over, eyesockets widened in sheer panic. Hands trembled as he looked over a bone plated arm and one made of pure electricity in silent horror before slowly turning to see his own body contorted grotesquely on several rocky pikes that spelled out his death.
Finally a shrill scream of terror left him as his hands gripped his new face. Electricity shot up the walls of the makeshift cave , sparking wildly in response to the deadman’s panic,
This couldn’t be happening--
