CORONATED TREE FROG
Also known as spiny-headed tree frogs, coronated tree frogs sport sharp, pointed projections on their head that give them their name. These rarely seen frogs live in the trees in subtropical forests and occasionally on coffee plantations.
Coronated Tree Frogs (Anotheca spinosa) can be found across Central American cloud forests, although their arboreal nature and their tendency to breed in tree holes makes uncovering its life history and ecology a challenge.Â
