I am so incredibly excited to say I have been awarded a City Artist Corps Grant. Labor Day weekend will be my 20 year anniversary in NYC and I’m so very grateful to my city and NYFA for making this possible after such an incredibly challenging time. I’m also honored to be counted among so many other talented NYC artists many of whom I have worked with and followed for years. I can’t wait to see what everyone has to show. For my part the funds will go toward the continuation of the Splendid Queens project, an exploration and celebration of my favorite borough, including a presentation of my work sometime in October.
