First game tonight for Luke and Gracie's BRONCOS team. We got the win: 48-24 it wasn't even that close. Gracie threw a nice touchdown pass; she got about a dozen reps at Quarterback tonight and started the game at QB and was my Captain, along with the other girl on my team; she scored two touchdowns! Luke's bazooka arm was too strong and he over shot his receivers a few times. 😂 However, he was amazing tonight with several interceptions, TD passes and scores himself. My little team that is made up of all kids I've never met or much less coached before, played exceedingly well after only getting to practice twice. We dominated the Oregon State Beavers tonight on opening night, 16-6. Louie Leon, a kid who has played several seasons for me, continues to shine and score with his great speed and the Luke to Caleb Quarterback to receiver connection is everything I thought it would be.
