As for Patreon stuff, you have the option to be an 18+ page. Of course, Patreon will have rules and guidelines on what content isn’t okay to post. It all just kind of goes down to making sure that your content doesn’t step out of those boundaries. And if you’re ever unsure about what you’re about to post is fine, doesn’t hurt to check the guidelines again.
Though, I am shocked to hear that there were some folks who got in trouble for something mild. I can only guess that maybe their page wasn’t deemed 18+? I can’t say for sure.
Like most things, handling Patreon takes some time management. Some people have a strict posting schedule, some are more lenient. I’m usually more lenient and just making sure that I at least post something once a month.
There will be times that you’ll be busy for an entire month and not have enough time, which is why I believe that it’s better to do monthly posts that won’t take you a long time to do. Not only will it cut time, it will also be less stressful.
You can also post smaller things like WIPs and sketches! You don’t have to stick with just posting finished pieces. Plus with WIPs, members will have something to look forward to on your page!
