@dmasonwest said: I was about to send this to you because it looked so much like you, then, wow, it is you?!?! Haha. You have a well defined voice, Brittanie Loren, and I like it. Since many of the objects you like are small pretty things, have you considered making Cornell boxes?
Whoa wait, when I checked wikiP for Cornell boxes they give me something associated with computer graphics. Standby.
WikiP prefers the term Shadow Box, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadow_box but the article on Joseph Cornell is much more informative https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Cornell There are shadow boxes, then there are the shadow boxes Cornell made. Cornell boxes.

@dmasonwest No worries Mason, I got it! :) Woah I donāt know how Iāve never heard of this guy! Iāve seen shadow boxes of course, but never heard of him. Exactly the sort of artist I love. <3 <3 Thanks for telling me about him! Thatās actually a really great point though, Iād never thought about using some of the little things I collect in art. Iāve made ugly little sculptures with stuffed animals for art class, but other than that and drawings, Iāve never really incorporated the cutesy cartoony brightly colored stuff into my art too much. My art has always been really muted and moody more than cutesy... But hmm, Iām actually getting a lot of ideas from thinking about this! Iāll definitely have to explore that some more. Iām really into found art, discarded things and ephemera being incorporated into collages and such. A shadow box would be great for bigger three dimensional objects that I canāt use in a paper/canvas based collage... :)) Thanks for the ideas!!! <3 I really need to get back into making big messy art pieces, but my little room feels so cramped! Maybe in the future Iāll have a big art studio again...

The pills are loose and rattle about. The gold foil IS meant to look āinfectedā. Not an anti-drug piece. Cold this morning! š„¶
