Aristóteles was born in Oaxaca, Mexico, product of the love affair between Mercedes, a seamstress and Rafael, a Mexican politician who ran away quickly from his responsibilities the minute Mercedes gave him the news to marry the child of a wealthy businessman. Alone, Mercedes raised Ari, along with his older siblings from a previous relationship. Although the family wasn't wealthy, the mother worked hard to make sure her kids never lacked anything while still being as involved in their lives as humanly possible, giving them all the love and care she could provide as a single mother of three.

At age ten, after seeing his mother struggle to make end meets, Ari decided to step in: he put his name on for a talent reality show in Mexico and got selected to compete. Although he didn’t win, Ari charmed the audience with his voice and personality, receiving a second place and deal for his own album. Not a year later, Ari was promoting his album and a soap opera he would be a part of. He used the money he was payed to buy his mother a house so she would never have to worry about not having a place to call theirs ever again.

His career took off after that. Soap operas, movies, awards, albums, tours… México couldn’t get enough of him, became the youngest solo number to sell out the biggest arena in mexico at the age of fifteen. It was traced in the stars, Aristóteles would become a legend.

Turning sixteen and having all the fame and fortune his stardom had brought with him affected the young star. Although he loved his country and his audience, the millions of kids, young people and eldest who would sing along to the songs he had written, he needed a bigger challenge and thus, the entire family decided to move to the USA as he tried and make it in Hollywood. Soon enough his luck and talent proved to work on his favor and he began getting small roles in commercials and some roles in shows and independent movies, until he landed an opportunity of a lifetime in a little indie movie that happened to resonate with the public, catapulting him to international fame. He even got some Oscar buzz at age 21 because of it. He wasn't nominated, but the buzz itself was enough to make his fame reach a new peak, and it landed him more scripts and offerings.

That’s where he met Natalie, one of his costars. She was beautiful, bright, gentle… Ari fell in love quickly and a year later, he proposed. Natalie said yes and just like that, the couple got married in a little ceremony by the beach two years later. Everybody told them they were far too young to take such life-altering decision, warning them it could not work but they paid no attention to any of it; both of them knew they were meant to spend a lifetime together.

He took a year off from acting to travel the world with his wife, learning about other cultures and simply being in love. They finished their year-long trip in New York City, Nat's hometown, right around Ari's 24th birthday where Nat informed him she was 4 months pregnant, they would be having a baby girl.

Isabella was born 4 and a half months later, crying to the moon and instantly stealing her parents heart. The family spent a year of pure bliss, splitting their life between New York and California while the actors auditioned for numerous movies, shows and plays, with little to no success; after a year their names had already been forgotten. Ari ended up booking a role in a movie that claimed would be his big comeback, just in time for Isabella's first birthday.

TW Then, the world stopped. Natalie went out one night to run some errands and she was involved in a big car crash, she was pronounced dead on her way to the hospital. Ari's whole life collapsed on itself, he had lost his partner and better half, his best friend and his child had lost her mother. It took him three months to be able to leave his bed, ultimately finding the strenght to do so thanks to his family and his baby. However, he decided, he would give up acting. He couldn't find it in himself to do it without Nat by his side.

Facts:

Augusta is from Southern California and the daughter of Mexican immigrant parents.

She loves writing, especially poetry. She was definitely one of those teens who had a “deep” poetic Instagram/twitter/MySpace (she's a millennial, LBR here) account that was literally terrible and overdramatic. However, she’s been honing her craft and gotten to a point where she can’t see herself doing anything else.

As the story goes, she met James during a summer trip to New York to visit relatives that live in the state. It was a whirlwind romance in her eyes, and a special summer of firsts: first trip to her dream university (NYU), first time dipping her foot in the Atlantic Ocean, first head over heels love for another woman. It was very eventful for baby teenage Augusta, and when it ended, it lowkey ruined her life.

She's been trying to put that summer in the past, but it always seems to creep its way into her life, whether it's through her poetry or her trust issues.

Augusta comes off as very naturally fun loving and charismatic, but she's more what you'd call an introverted extrovert. She really shines when she's surrounded by people she trusts and loves.

She started her university career in SoCal, but her dream was always to end up at NYU. She was accepted there and got her butt on a plane so she could start working on her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. BACKSTORY:

killian meijer was born in a well-respected family of lawyers. the meijers were known primarily for their main craft, therefore from very early age lars and gwen meijers were preparing young killian for their upcoming successful career as an attorney. even before killian started attending school, they were constantly exposed to an extensive library filled with law material. there was no room for questions or doubts regarding their future.

when killian turned five, daan meijer, killian's younger brother, was born. the family decided to move from the netherlands to the states, where lar’s older brother resided, seeking even better professional opportunities for their children. Up until high school, killian lived in boston, but had to move to new york to finish high school and continue with law school afterwards.

during their last year in law school, killian met mila – the love of their life. or so they thought. the two hit it off almost instantly, falling head over heals for each other faster than they could realize. the elder meijer’s, however, upon finding out about mila, did not seem too pleased with killian’s pick for a mate, but did not impose their opinion upon killian too much during that time either.

four years later, the couple had moved in together and were building their own reputation as established lawyers.  kllian had taken up a side job and was saving for their own place they could call home that both of them planned to buy in the following couple of years. not long after, killian proposed and the pair was now planning their upcoming wedding. however, the dream life had eventually come to an end. during one of their usual mornings, killian woke up to find their apartment empty. mila was nowhere to be found. they had not seen her since. well, at least not in person. the following month killian made a devastating discover. thanks to social media, they managed to track mila down, who now was back with her ex-boyfriend, who had just returned from his military training. It was later revealed that killian’s parents paid mila handsomely for her to return to her old life and never to come back. what hurt the most? not only did mila accept that offer, but made no effort, whatsoever, to contact killian again. as if the life they had been building for the past four years did not exist.

that was the last straw for killian. they had cut all ties with their parents ever since finding out about mila. another year passed and they decided to quit their job. with their parents out of the picture and no one else to control them, killian decided to explore their true desires and aspirations.

the older meijer always enjoyed helping people. that was the main reason why they pushed through law school and several years working as a lawyer, falsely believing they were protecting people, when, the law system was just as corrupt as any other. they found themselves defending offenders in court, while the actual victims did not receive proper justice. and so, killian swore to themselves to do all that was in their power to prevent any more of such assaults against women and people from happening ever again. that’s how they ended up receiving their self-defense certification and became a personal trainer, helping anyone and everyone who was interested in learning how to defend themselves.

at the same time, killian seemed to struggle with the fact that they had left their younger brother daan with their parents, who, no doubt, were also forcing him to follow their footsteps. the meijer siblings used to be rather close during childhood but had drifted apart since killian moved to new york for studies. although the two managed to have a call or two per month, that was nowhere close to resembling the proper bond they used to have back in the day, not to mention any healthy bond that any siblings shared.

not being able to properly deal with the guilt of “leaving daan behind” and the grief of losing mila, along with a lot of suppressed emotions since childhood that resulted in anger-issues, killian was persuaded by their best friend to start attending therapy. It proved to be a challenging start to a long journey, but they have been showing up consistently for the past year, which had to be a good sign.

when they are not training others, killian spends their free time outdoors, engaging in various sports, such as hockey from time to time (it used to be their main hobby back in their high school era), volleyball and even skateboarding once in a blue moon. as they got older, killian also found new appreciation for sightseeing and cooking. now they treat themselves with warm meals and never forget to surprise their closest friends with their “weekly delights”.

backstory

had a relatively normal childhood. grew up in new york as the only child to a seemingly loving couple. but, like most marriages, theirs ended up dissolving around the time james was ten. big bummer.

her time was split between her parents places after her mother ended up moving, generally living with her mother during the school years and with her father during the summers

loves her mother, truly, but she always tended to favor and take after her father

showed great potential in school, but was largely academically unmotivated. think the smartest kid in your on level classes who refused to go up into honors/ap level classes. classes bored her because they were easy, but she had absolutely no motivation to go to the classes that "challenged" her like her teachers recommended, so she just skipped classes lol

the most notable revelations that came out of grade school to james was that she liked girls, and she was capable of being much crueler than she thought (see: folklore love triangle)

went to college because it was the Next Step to do, but ended up dropping out after two years when she still didn't know what to major in

backstory.

his childhood was normal. happy, even. except for the part where his parents never let him have a dog because they were 'too busy' for one.

because his parents both had pretty demanding jobs, he was put in a ton of after school activities, but he kind of sucked at sports. so he joined boy scouts and took a bunch of different music lessons. he's pretty decent at guitar and piano and can fake his way through some accordion in a pinch.

theo is the oldest of three and was the child his parents placed their hopes on. his mother is a well-known pediatric oncologist at pittsburgh children's hospital and his father teaches biology at carnegie mellon. everyone assumed that theo would follow in their footsteps. and he did...sort of

he studied biology even though it wasn't really his thing because he wasn't paying for college, his parents were...and he minored in both music theory and psychology, which he liked more.

he met one of he most important people in his life while attending duquesne university in caroline davis.

...they didn't hit it off right away. in fact, at first, she was a bit of a thorn in his side. but a little bonding over a mutual love of music (and the food trucks on campus...) and they clicked. he asked her out around homecoming that first year and the rest is history.

they dated for years. it was very serious. he was two weeks away from buying a ring, honestly. but they spent a really big chunk of their relationship long-distance and it was just...hard. he really fucking loves loved her. but you know what they say...if you love it, let it go. or whatever.

during college, he made spending money at a work study job at the school library, but he made more walking dogs so he quit the work study job and started pet-sitting and dog walking most evenings.

this is where his love of animals began and only started to grow the more he spent times with classmates' and neighbors' pets. he decided to apply to vet school instead of med school, much to his mom's chagrin.

he got in!

...and he dropped out 2 semesters in because he hated it.

theo kept up a pretty big lie for the better part of a year, working odd jobs around pittsburgh and maintaining his off-campus apartment and dodging his parents' questions...until his dad was a guest lecturer to one of his vet school classes and he was nowhere to be found.

his parents gave him two choices: go back to vet school or go back to college and get a degree he would use.

theo chose neither. he packed up his shit, hopped on a bus, and moved to new york city with a collection of cassette tapes, a duffel bag of clothes, and whatever was left in his bank account to his name.

his parents didn't exactly disown him during this period, but they didn't reach out. he found out his mom was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer about 2 months after his move...and she'd been diagnosed a month prior. he heard it from one of his siblings and tried to reach out, but didn't get a response.

she passed away eight months after her diagnosis. he never got a chance to make amends and it's one of his biggest regrets.

he has since reconciled with his dad, but that's something that just..you don't just get over that. he's struggled with it mightily and with the help of a good therapist, he's starting to forgive himself. some.

he intended on reconnecting with caroline when he got there but...well, that didn't turn out so well.

so he couch surfed for a while until he could accept the first non-sketchy craigslist roommate ad he could find and moved into his cornelia street apartment.

he's not sure what he wants to do, really, so he's worked a lot of odd jobs since moving to the city. he's worked at almost every starbucks in an eight block radius of his apartment, bartended for a while, tried his hand working a food truck...but nothing seemed to stick. he paid rent by ubereats-ing most months, until he started walking neighbors' dogs and found something he kind-of-doesn't-hate.

during this in-between time is when he sort of got back into music. one job, he played piano in a restaurant's main dining room. another was a bar where he sweet talked his way into a few gigs. probably ended up meeting the rest of the electric touch crew during this period!

now he's working at the animal shelter, walking dogs using rover, and playing some gigs on the side. thank god for dogs and music.

january first, 1993. born at midnight, the moment the new year was rung in. born in instanbul at midnight exactly, emira was the last of four kids her family had. and the only girl they had too. two years after her birth, her father and the rest of her family moved to new york city. being so young at the time, she didn't have to worry about losing friends. with the move to the city, it meant growing up in a new place away from family. something she got used to over time. growing up in a new place for emira was easy. though unlike her siblings who were older, it was harder for them. with the fact that they had friends back at their old home. growing up, emira did make some friends. though never a lot. to emira, she liked having a close circle of friends. sge gad seen all to wel how some people easily betrayed others. her brother having to got hrough that when one of his own friends betrayed him. during her high school years, she would volunteer to help out at the hospital. it was there that she came to love helping out people. after graduating high school, she spent the summer with her family before heading off to college. attending harvard univerisity, she studied there for four years before graduating. when it came to med school, she stayed with harvard for another four years. during her time there, she did come back to the city for visits. especially during the holidays. once graduated from med school, she returned home to do her residency at the hospital there. flashforward four years to now, in her last year of residency, all she wants to do is to complete her year and become a full fledged surgeon. one of the main goals in her life.

There was nothing Aleksandr and Aaliyah Petrov wanted more than children. As soon as they got married, they began trying to start their family. After years with no success, they turned to doctors and were thrilled when their second IVF attempt gave them a baby girl.

Needless to say, Veronica was their entire world. She never wanted for anything, and while many would warn them that this would make her spoiled, they insisted on continuing while instilling in her the need to always be grateful for what they had.

Growing up, she always looked up to her grandfather. He had come over to the states from Russia as a teenager, worked all through college and then built his own company from the ground up.

She had never been interested in taking over the business, and while that had disappointed her father and grandfather at first, they eventually gave up and let her do her own thing.

But then her grandfather passed away and her dad stepped into the head role of the company... Taking it in "a new direction." Suddenly, he once again started to pressure his daughter into keeping the business in the family. After a couple years of back and forth, Veronica eventually packed up her things and moved out to the city to be on her own.

Even though she left home, she was still the golden, only child so she continued to (mostly) use family accounts for her rent and anything she needed.

born and raised in peechtree, georgia. had a rough childhood due to her parents just being... shady people. to the outside it seemed like a perfect family, the american dream with two kids, a white picket fence and a successful marriage but on the inside, the story was far opposite of that.

from the moment her younger brother was born, addie knew it was her responsibility to keep him alive and well. when her parents weren't out working or stealing money from their friends and family, they were pretending to be members of the high society so the siblings were, for the most part, left to fend for themselves and she took the role of the caretaker very seriously

for years it seemed as if she and her baby brother were only two pieces of furniture for their parents, they all lived separate lives from eachother with addie acting as both the home keeper and the parent figure for her older brother until, only a few months before her high school graduation, her parents decided to burn the family house down for the insurance money after a business plan went sour. the night it happened, after being woken up by her baby brother terrified and barely escaping alive, she confronted her mother. she promised to keep her mouth shut about knowing it all had been a ploy if she could take her little sibling away from atlanta without any of them chasing after them and they shook on it
