The Story of Cordelia Rosewell

Hello everyone, Sydney Collins’s Pinterest, YouTube, and Instagram are living rent free in my mind and I’ve now scoured literally all of it.
So let’s go through all of the things I’ve found about our favorite mad girl.
So here are the first designs/blurbs Sydney posted about Cordelia
As all things in game development, things can change. For example, originally Cordelia goes to the Rosewell Institute for fits of ‘hysteria’. However, in her next series of posts about Cordelia’s backstory and from there on out, the reason for Cordelia’s institutionalization is the murder of her husband.
The story of the previous Red Queen goes from “red queen is befriended, usurped, and killed by Cordelia on her arrival” to “the Red Queen is killed by Cordelia during her attempted escape”.
Here is Cordelia arriving at the Institute and hating white roses.
In fact, she hates white roses so much that she “cuts down all of [them] in the Kingdom”.
From these two posts we know Cornelia is 25 (ish-it’s been a while since she fell), was born between the dates March 21st and April 19th, is the Challenger Ennegram (strong, protective, assertive), and is an Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking and Judging type(Executive).
The most important piece of lore I managed to scavenge is this!!
Cornelia (in her pre-fall and pre-institutional dress) beheaded, with the words “doesn’t she deserve a second chance?” Plus, the green eyes with the eyelashes (the cat doesn’t have eyelashes) watches over Alice on one of her Poker cards.
“It’s not fair.”
“Look what you’ve done to me.”
Sydney mentioned above how similar Alice and Cornelia are. They’re not the same person, but maybe some weird time travel stuff happens that lets Cornelia watch over Alice’s journey each time. Maybe through one of the other characters?
Also-spoilers for a future master post about the endings-but Alice can become the new Queen of Hearts.
“With her new wonderland friends” I don’t think Cornelia is one of them. I don’t think Cornelia can ever be one of them. I think Alice kills has to kill Cornelia, no matter what ending you go down.
