Standing outside of a cafe whilst it was snowing wasn't exactly Corey's favorite thing, but she hated smoking inside, so she always to smoke outside, however she'd left her lighter at her apartment, feeling too lazy to go and grab it, she turned to the nearest stranger. ❝Hey, you got a light?❞
The weather could be better, he thought.
Snow fell in large flakes and melted on his parka. He could barely blink past the things, and as he shook his recently emptied pack of smokes, he came to the conclusion he was better off inside and out of the cold. Following the strong aroma of caffeine that filtered out along the streets, Yosuke figured a cup of black coffee was the only fair alternative to a cigarette. Slowing as he neared the cafe, the lights through the large windows warmed the sidewalk, but he was stopped by pink hair and an unlit smoke balanced between thin fingers. Nothing could stop him from staring at the very thing his thoughts had been stalled on. Her question came as less of a surprise, and his mouth pursed around the beginnings of a grin.
Pulling out a chipped zippo from his pocket, he flicked the wheel in a juvenile attempt at burning flakes of falling snow.
"S'long as there's plenty more where that stick came from." Compromise was something his habit as a smoker fine tuned. The deal seemed reasonable to him, and so he pushed his way beneath the canopy of the coffee shop and waited for her to agree.
