There was interest in having the Study of Texture original afghan converted to a shawl. So I put my thinking cap on and created a shawl. This ended up morphing into a demand to have the Study of Texture Poncho. Cora Morrison, a fellow crocheter, took up the challenge to create one.
With collaboration, Cora re-wrote the instructions for the Crochet Study of Texture Poncho as a one piece unit. You could have done two shawls and sewed them together. She wanted a one piece unit instead.
Cora spent several weeks perfecting the pattern to the best of our her ability to match my original intention. Her and I worked together to do our best to correct as much as we saw. So if you find an error, it’s not for a lack of trying.
Cora used 5 balls of Bernat POP yarn. Using 5 mm / H Hook.
