Chaos on Quiet Days || Ayato & Haru
→ When Haru changed out of his work uniform it honestly felt like nothing had changed. Some days, it felt like a thousand pounds was lifted from his shoulders. And from the thoughts of his co-workers: those days were everyday. Today, the amount of people that showed up was just the right amount. The flow keeping people moving and from causing problems. If any of them ever had any, they just followed others until they found what they need. Or in one particular instance -- which he watched from the corner of the room --- look confused for a few minutes until someone else told them which way to go. So the only people busy were the ones at the reception desk. At Least, after the animals were all taken care of. From the chat in the back room, there were no bumps in those areas either. So he expected as he headed home, there would be no problems.
→ He made his way to the front entrance. Making sure to stick to the sides to get passed most of the crowd. Even though it was thinning rapidly, it was still better to not cause himself trouble. It turned out to be a bit unnecessary, seeing as the moment he stepped through the door he almost got run over by a kid running down the sidewalk. He thought nothing of it until he heard commotion from the way the kid was coming from.
→ What he saw down the street was something he definitely did not want to deal with. It looked like the beginnings of a fight. Haruka couldn’t really hear what they were saying-- nor did he really care. The two men’s body language was clear enough. Sighing, he looked down the opposite side of the street longingly. Once he decided against letting it play out on its own, he turned to the men. Calling out to get their attention. “Hey!”
