Thought I'd share our recent Fox 29newss story with everyone. I used some good old fashioned storytelling about an 85 year old lady who had a movie made in her home and spoon fed it to the press in a way they like to eat it. Turns out I had 117 people show up. Simple disclaimer, I am an experienced real estate author and marketer, this aint my first rodeo.... but some magic happened. This little old lady it turns out had some amazing stories to tell. Like baking cookies for cast and crew. And hanging out with Mark Walhberg, Saoerse Ronin and Peter Jackson... and she told me fun story after fun story..... Now being a storyteller myself, I told a few of those little old lady stories to the press in a way they like to hear it. I crafted the copy for the press release and send out using a press release service. I was taught by a publicist many years ago a top secret press release formula to virtually guarantee press coverage if written correctly. I wrote it correctly and send out twice , one week apart. The rest is being available to the press and helpful. FYI, the press will call you if your press release copy is on point. Turns out the national TV, Newspaper and Radio press from 5 major networks picked up the story and ran it. So the major media campaign really paid huge dividends in terms of reach and brand awareness for our James Harner Group brand and for eXp Realty brand.
