One of my favorite gifts that I made: all recycled materials: Copper wire from old cable that I stripped and coiled. Once I had the tree formed I found an old piece of wood and used old screws to bolt it down. I used newspaper to “terraform” and then painted it white. I gave a green wash to test prints of my recent drawing that I was going to throw out and punched out a ton of hearts, which made the grass. Painted the bottom a deep green/brown. Used old felt for feet. Added on some rose quartz beads and some spots of green/brown paint on the trunk of the tree.
