*hug if it's welcome* Jeeeez. I hope the rest of your day sucks less! Also that you have some peace & quiet or whatever will be soothing/grounding for you.
Thanks. <3 I got super nauseated in a pre-migraine-y way around 11:30, but I took some meds and that seems to have arrested any further migraine development. I had a meeting at noon and was thinking I'd go home after, but instead I had a nice long distracting chat with a new co-worker/colleague and now I am drinking tea and stuffing myself with free cake from the department lounge. It is better.

it's good to have a plan, and a trusted friend to uphold the plan. You may need to sign waivers..Maybe bring the Dr. a bad christmas sweater to wear?
We have a birth plan, which I'll be updating before my next OB appointment in January. We also have a doula, and the FP I just switched to was recommended by her (and specifically asked this week if we could go over my birth plan at my January appointment without me bringing it up). I'm not sure why "no white coats" would require a waiver, since doctors often work in scrubs sans white coat. Anyway, I am fairly confident that the team we've assembled will respect this directive, now that I've figured out it should probably be issued. (Not being confident that some random OB would even attempt to not re-traumatize me is the major reason I switched to an FP.)
