fjshdf yes that makes sense to me!! My art is always a weird mesh of “is that anime?” “are those cartoons?” and “you have a.... /distinct/ style...”

as for looks it’s quite variable tbh! normally their appearance comes before anything else but sometimes characters have changed a lot mid-development. and then sometimes i see a picture or smth and just go omg thats __! as for personality and such that mostly comes through figuring out how they relate to other characters esp bc i normally create characters in sets of three or four 

thanks for the ask <3Mint Tea : How do you relax?That is a great question - I’m very bad at relaxing tbh I feel the need to be occupied with something pretty much all the time - but when I do manage I like to watch documentaries (usually crime/supernatural related... because... that’s relaxing apparently?), go for walks by the water or find a place in a cafe and draw without any pressure/goal in mind
