Finally finished this stool / step-stool I’ve been working on over the past month. After decades of building model railroads using pine, ply, & hardboard, this was the first time building with hardwood—cherry & walnut. Danish oil really releases the rich colors & figure of the wood. . “Where are all the stool puns?!?” you wood wonder, perhaps while sitting on your thinking throne. Speaking of taking things to another level, now that I have this step-stool—& all the mad woodworking skillz I learned doing the project—I can build more shelves & wood storage higher up my french cleat wall! 🥳 .
