Raspberry Cool Drinks for Hot Days
A refreshing and floral twist on classic lemonade, this lavender-infused version is perfect for a hot summer day.
Ingredients: 1 cup fresh lemon juice. 1/2 cup maple syrup. 4 cups water. 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds. Ice cubes. Lemon slices for garnish. Fresh lavender sprigs for garnish.
Instructions: Put 2 cups of water and dried lavender buds in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and let it cook for 5 minutes. After taking it off the heat, let it sit for 30 minutes. Pour the water with lavender into a pitcher through a strainer. Fill the pitcher with fresh lemon juice, maple syrup, and the last two cups of water. Mix everything together well by stirring it around a lot. Put the lavender lemonade in the fridge until it's cold. Add ice cubes to the glass and top with lemon slices and fresh lavender sprigs.
