Cute 1909 chapel conversion in Audubon, MN has 3bds, 3ba, reduced $45K to $575K.
So charming! A small brick conversion built as a chapel in 1890 in Chestertown, Maryland. $495K
What a wonderful chapel conversion. It was built in 1887 on the easterly edge of the pretty village of West Ilsley, on the border of Berkshire and Oxfordshire in England. An artist and a musician, who bought the home directly from the personal property portfolio of Her Majesty the Queen, renovated and restored it.
Modern renovations were added while carefully preserving the original chapel features.
This is such a unique property. It’s a former chapel in Solon, Maine, that now has a museum on the main floor and a cozy residence on the 2nd & 3rd fls. It looks old, but it was built in 2010 and comes with 3.9 acres of land that has a lot of potential. All for $350,000.

This cute little Baptist chapel in Sweden was built in 1903 and used until 2016. Now, it’s been converted to an unusually pretty home by Markus and Isa.
A large family requires a large sofa. The fireplace was designed and built by a professional tiled stove maker.
From the large hall there is a direct exit to the wooden terrace. The old fire escape ladder has been painted in the same pink tone as the window frames.
This is lovely- it’s a former chapel in England, and it’s been converted to a home. The little 1867 structure is not visible from the street, so it’s like a secret garden.
An artist bought this old chapel in East London and after years of neglect, turned it into a studio and home. She chose to paint the outside dark and moody to contrast the light interior. She also added a gated a area for dedicated off-street parking.
Home to sculptural artist and designer Anastasya, she named it Utopia House.
Her design is very open and look at those huge plants as room dividers.
I think that this room would be way too minimalist w/o the plants.
Directly opposite the seating area is a huge concrete dining table that doubles as a workspace, too.
The mezzanine cantilevers over the kitchen, which is a look that I like. It makes the kitchen feel cozier.
Check out her matte black cabinets and granite counters. She made the backsplash by gilding the back of glass panels, like a mirror.
The studio is in the mezzanine, where she has a 12′ long table and lots of natural light.
Then 3 steps lead out to a beautiful rooftop deck.
On the main floor, behind the kitchen, is a hallway to the 2 bedrooms. Shelving and a storage closet were installed under the stairs.
The master suite. Love the bed.
On one side is a walk-in closet and the other is the master bath. She picked that popular tile, I don’t really care for.
This is the guest room.
The 2nd bath is a petty pale pink w/black accents.
From the front windows you can see the beams.
