I started this telephone tales series thinking it would be maybe a dozen posts over four months.  Now it is more than a year later and I am trying to wrestle it down to a conclusion so I can move on to another topic. The story so far has spilled out into 2007 or so and now I need to reel it back in, back to the year 2000.  For the first half of my life that year represented “the future,” a destination after which it seemed likely we might all have to wear shiny clothing, or would at least be tooling around in flying cars. Not in High School.

Not at McDonald’s.

Not at Eckerd’s.

Not in the US Army.

Not in College.

Not at Convergys.

Not at Banctec.

Not at Loomis.

Not at Piedmont Protective Services.

Not at Ricoh.

Not at Wells Fargo.

I will directly bring up racism in meetings, on the side, in public, to law enforcement & to niggas. Cause why, “Not today, not the fucking one.” I’m the zero, I’ll bring yo ass to the ground & clean up handsomely.

My existence will not be tarnished or traumatized by humanity. I never liked this world & more than likely never will. For those that don’t fight back or say fuck no; fuck all of y’all & whatever y’all stand for.
