god dickens’ sheer joy at figuring out there’s more to the world than he knows

again this show goes everywhere but still remains so thematically stable!!!

god it’s gonna be another century until i get to another 9 episode but he has so few i guess they’re just like a special treat every now and then

god and when jex tries to turn the tables on the doc just S N A P S

the weird thing is i don’t know if the doc getting to the point where he pulls a gun on jex would have made sense before the timeless child reveal

i mean smith totally sells it but it is very extreme 

but now it makes so much sense!!! like the doc’s met plenty of war criminals but this one in particular gets to them

i really enjoyed this ep 

i feel like i’m such a liar i’m like ‘i really just love when my show is silly and campy and delightful!!’

but deep down whenever the doc is pushed to extremes i’m suddenly that much more invested
