Check Up ll Eunice & Katniss
ψ - From time to time, the blonde was obligated to pay visits to the people being kept in the asylum. The books of the collection had to be dusted off and inspected for any alterations. Changes that gave reason for the nurses and nuns to worry. If left out for too long, those damages could become fatal and turn into ticking time bombs. Not all of them, but some of them. In all honesty, the being currently possessing the formerly dedicated nun did not care for the lives of the numerous patients. There were millions of humans walking the planet. Tending to day to day activities such as cooking appetizing meals and raising uneducated children. There were so many of them going to work on a daily basis in order to bring in income that would sustain one or more for the oncoming months. So many more souls that inhabited bodies of mortality. So really, what difference did it make to lose just a few of the creations of the man upstairs? It was hardly as if they would be missed. Those that were committed to mental facilities usually had some kind of impairment. Such dilemmas made it challenging for others to take care of them. The imperfect individuals became burdens that were left to be swept under carpets. The carpets being the facilities of course. They were buildings that were constructed in areas that were out of the way. People would not have to encounter one on the way to work or on the way back home. Mankind just loved to ignore problems and believe that everything would work out.
Yet, what could not be seen could indeed { h u r t }.
At the moment, the arrival of one of the patients scheduled to be met with for some of the day was being waited for. A quick upward glance of blue eyes could inform that the youth was precisely three minutes late. The single clock that hung on the wall was a newer purchase and had been set to read the correct time. Tardiness was not the fault of the unfortunate brunette that would be entering, but of the nurse that had been instructed to bring her. Due to the fact that the being of evil did not enjoy being forced to wait, this would be dealt with. Just not at the moment since matters of carnage and death had to be addressed in dark areas of the building. Away from the blissfully unaware eyes of those that did not know the truth behind Eunice. The fact that their oh so endearing woman was not actually around anymore. All thoughts fell silent as the door of the room was opened. In came in the expected and undesirably late pair. A plump nurse with a disgruntled expression on her face. Obviously upset about some trivial matter. The brunette herself did not seem to be too pleased either. Reasons for this were already known due to the abilities the powerful creature possessed. A dismissive wave of a pale hand was given in the direction of the employee. "I'll find you when this is over. For now, leave the patient here and continue on with your duties. Close the door on your way out." Once the woman did as told and shut the door after exiting, both corners of soft pink lips turned up. Undevided attention was not placed on Katniss.
"Now, how has your first week been?"
