Welcome to @deussalveoreisubs!

As requested, here we have the first three episodes of the Brazilian telenovela (soap opera) “Deus Salve o Rei” (God Save the King) and their fanmade subtitles in English. Each week, we’ll post on Saturday three new episodes and their subtitles.

We decided to start this small project per request of others as some gifs were made and people showed their interest on some of the characters. Since we love it as well, it’s been a great pleasure - even if a bit stressful - to translate each episode for you.

Please, have in mind that most of us are new at this and English isn’t our first language. We’d love to hear any comment, suggestion, opinion everybody might have. Don’t be shy, we’d love to hear your thoughts on what’s happening and about each character. And please check our FAQ for any doubts you might have! <3
