Thank You! 💙
This is about my journey of being a Consistent Dean’s Lister.
It wasn’t easy for me to achieve this. There are so many ups and downs throughout the process. Just like what they said, “Trust the process.”
It all started when I was in First year. The day when I learned about the so-called “Consistent Dean’s Lister”. There is a different award for that. Aside from the medal that you get from a specific semester, you’ll get another one. but what’s the catch about it? You have to be a consistent dean’s lister from 1st year 1st semester until 4th yr 1st semester. And that’s where my dream of becoming a Consistent Dean’s Lister starts.
I am more persevere in achieving that dream, when i got 2.25 from my summer class. (It means that I will not have the chance to have a latin honor when i graduated) since then, i told myself that if i can’t have a latin honor on my graduation day, i’ll have the consistent dean’s lister award on the last recognitionn day.
Just like what i’ve told earlier. It wasn’t easy. There are some sacrifices, sleepless nights, cramming days (procrastination at its best), etc. but hey it was all worth it.
I know somehow at some point, i really don’t deserve this award. Looking back for the past four years of my college life, there will always be some “kalokohan” (if you can call it some. hahaha) and i’ll ask myself, “Do i really deserve this award?” Tho, there is doubt in myself, i know that everything happens for a reason and He gave me this for He knows that i deserve this (somehow). I know that He guides me in every possible way and I know that He wants me to believe that everything is possible. I may be doubtful for this, but He give me assurance that I should believe in myself. Thankyou for this. I am truly grateful and blessed to receive this award. Thankyou!
And for all the students out there, Never stop dreaming. Continue what you are doing. Do what you love and don’t be afraid in failure just Pray and believe in yourself.
Keep this in your mind, “I can. I must. and I will.”
And i would like to thank everyone who is part of this journey.
