Connor Blake:
On the real, there is a story to be told & let it be known that Connor Blake is telling his.
Whether he comes to terms that he's dealing with a gold digger (Gucci Vuitton) or telling a girl to take a tride in a stride cause her breath smells (Pour One Out). Connor won't ever hold his tongue for anything or anyone.
While allowing his truth to spill out in a genre-bending style — he flexes between sensibility, in-tune chord progressions & an unplugged sound.
Ultimately Connor likes to evoke ones feelings on life's inconstancy because in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.
And while the pill is hard to swallow, Connor gets lost in his bars (because he has more than a local pharmacy) like mentioned in Daydream by Weeeks ft Mr. Balake. He continuously faces everything head-on with a smile because he refuses to sell himself short. "I am trying to produce an original sound while providing listeners with a sense of nostalgia. Every song I write is an emotional journey of it's own." says Connor Blake. "The theme almost always changes with every song I write. It is all situational, I typically write about what I'm going through in that moment in time."

Above all, Connor Blake identifies as male because all he does is send it (Boo). Besides this Connor is also an licensed realtor who collects his commission & musician from North Jersey who's pursuing his dreams. While moving up in years, Connor was exposed to Judas Priest, Aerosmith, Metallica, etc in the four walls of his home. However, as he got older Connor's friends & older siblings introduced him to hip hop artists like; Jadakiss, Stack Bundles, Capital Steez, etc. Fortunate to naturally teach himself how to sing & play instruments — Connor gives cred to his ear. "The complexity of both rock & hip hop has molded me into the person/musician I am today." he adds.
His new E.P is one that'll be found as listenable simply because it'll be his most musically complex project yet. On the contrary, Connor's personal experience plays a role his favorite song off the E.P called 20/20. " I started writing this song at the beginning of what turned out to be a really rough relationship & didn't finish the song until the relationship was over. I didn't do this purposely, as I couldn't predict our future, but I felt this song came together full circle when I wrote the hook to the chorus, "Hindsight is 20/20." Connor says.
If given the opportunity to become famous from one song cover, Connor Blake would choose a song by John Mayer. "That man is a genius."
But for now, he's optimistic for a possible collab with Kelly & Nani of SweetXO, "We've chatted a few times on IG and they are super talented & seemingly genuine individuals."Â
With this in mind, Connor Blake advises upcoming artist to be theirselves. It's also important to be genuine. ""I have met some of the most HUMBLE & TALENTED artists here in North Jersey. No one wants to listen to a song that holds no truth & was written by a poser." he adds "No one can get mad at you for being you."
