LOBSTER BENEDICT- Buttermilk Biscuit, Local Lobster, Smoked Chili Hollandaise
Mystic CT is one of my favorite small coastal towns in New England! I love going downtown to shop, walk around and grab lunch and cocktails. I also love Mystic Village, which is another shopping area in the town. The town always has events going on and it is a perfect place for a fun day trip or weekend getaway!
I had brunch at The Shipwright’s Daughter in downtown Mystic and the restaurant was so very nice. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the decor was adorable. This restaurant is a great place to get good food and enjoy everyone’s company!
The Lobster Benedict was very good. The buttermilk biscuits crispy and added a great flavor to the lobster, egg and sauce. The lobster was fresh and tasted delicious but I don’t think they had enough lobster on the dish. I thought for the price there should have been more lobster. But, over all my dish was delicious 🦞
The blistered Shishitos with Togarashi Saucea and Lemon Powder were very delicious. I love these peppers and they were some of the best I have had.
The show stopper was the delicious potatoes. The potatoes are made with chicken fat and they were some of the best potatoes I have ever had.
Over all my brunch was delicious 😋
Based on presentation and taste of the Lobster Benedict I would rate this dish a 9 out of 10.
