Explaining what a Kindopath is! coined term and flag by me
Kindopath/kindiepath
Pronounced "Kin-dee-path" or "kin-dough-path" (can be pronounced as "kind-path")
A kindopath is someone who experiences being connected emotionally towards a fictional character without relating to them or identifying as the character.
A kindiepath (or kindie for short) will often cry over a characters backstory, but not all of kindiopathy (kin-dee-oh-pathy) is related to being sad for the character, because being a kindiopath is to feel emotional for a character in any way (happy, sad, mad) without relating to them. While it can sound similar to a kinnie, it isn't the same for one is relating and the other has nothing to do with relating to a character.
Most of kindiopaths will often have traits of feeling bad for a problematic character's backstory without supporting their actions, OR, seeing your friend, lover, or family through a character, whatevers related to feeling emotionally connected in some way or in some way feeling bad! (Can be caused by coping mechanisms, too)
It could be a spectrum of alot of things, but it has nothing to do with relating to a character.
Sometimes kindiopaths will feel maternal towards a sweet character, without being sweet in real life
Sometimes, kindiopaths will feel platonically loving towards a mean character, which can come with favoriting them (sometimes kindiopathy isn't always favoriting a character, though!).

Just to make things clear:
"Can I use this term if I am [insert anything I do not support]"
Although I may not support whatever you might be that is considered problematic, I SHOULD NOT or CANNOT control who uses my terms or flags, so feel free to use them. Gatekeeping this term would be like gatekeeping how someone feels about themself, and that is kinda mean!
-
"I should not gatekeep, and neither should you"
-amazing quote by pluralkit
"Do kindopaths support alterhuman" kindiepaths will always be different and WILL experience different opinions. However, that is not the case for me because I am supportive of alterhumans. So, in a way, yes. But do not go assuming this about other kindopaths.
"Is a kindiopath considered alterhuman identity?"
I am totally unsure of this, but in my opinion, I would say it's not inherently alterhuman based, but that's for the alterhumans themself to decide. I don't care how people see it, honestly.
However, the flag was inspired by the alterhuman flag!
"What is the symbols meaning?"
The blue "water" on the middle of the flag represents a tear! I know kindiopathy isn't inherently "feeling sad towards said character," but bear with me here! A tear can be "tears of joy," "tears of anger," and "tears of sadness,"
It represents a tear of emotional connection towards the character. However, if you do not feel as if the flag presents you well, you are certainly free to use your own symbol to present yourself!

How to present as kindopath in a sentence!!
Instead of "I'm making a kinnie bingo"
You can say, "I'm making a kindo/kindie bingo!"
Instead of presenting yourself as a "kinnie," you can present yourself as "Kindopath/kindie"
Instead of presenting yourself as "I'm feeling emotionally connected for the character without relating," try to say "I feel kindiepathic/kindopathic" obviously if the person doesn't understand then just explain to them you feel a sense of emotional (sad, mad, happy, whatever emotion you feel that gives connection) towards said character for random person, to understand!
Instead of saying "I kin this character" say "I kindpath this character" or just say "kind this character", just know you aren't pronouncing it as "kined" (NOT in the "your so kind!" Way, basically)
You pronounce it the same way as the first word of "kin" and add a D in the end. "kìnd".
