A sequel is still on the table, yeah! There are a bunch of oneshots I've written over the years that I expressed interest in exploring further, but I just never got around to it. None of those ideas are scrapped, technically. Just a 'too many fic ideas, too little time' type beat. But hey, in this case, since I just reread it and remembered how fun that AU was, maybe I'll try to work on that sequel soon.
Almost everytime I get the notification for a new fanfiction you have started it makes me kind of happy due to the fact it just gives me something to look forward to reading when the last is done. I'm really really a fan of your works, and everytime you come out with a new one, i know it will be a completely different and almost 100% origninal plot !! ok, bye! I saw this post a while ago that was like, if you wrote and posted fanfics and then people really really liked them, but none of them told you that because they considered you a big scary author and then they only talked to each other about it, then wouldn't that make you sad?

Tasting Your Blood as a fic is such a good mix of vampires doing normal stuff and also the slow burn of vampires doing weird territorial stuff that everyone brushes off as Normal Vampire Quirkiness until it's maybe too late (techno stop brushing health and safety under the rug challenge level impossible). I am in love with it. Thank you for such a delightful story.
Ah, thank you! It honestly /is/ normal vampire quirkiness to some extent, SBI definitely sees their behavior as very normal lmao. I feel like most other people would have seen it as red flags but Techno is just a silly little guy

The setting is more or less a standard medieval fantasy one. Pretty low on technology, people riding around on horses, no electricity kinda vibe.
In terms of clothing: Techno and by extension Ranboo and Tommy lead a very humble life so they wear simple clothes. Linen shirts, trousers, leather boots. Easy to move around in and stuff. When it's cold they layer with wool garments, simplistic capes, and scarves, maybe. Very dull colors like grey, brown, and dark blues/greens/reds.
They also all three wear a leather apron during the blacksmithing job, pretty much the only protective gear blacksmiths used to wear. Leather is fire-resistant. Techno would be the type of guy to not bother taking it off (or forget to) during the day so he's probably wearing it constantly unless he's sleeping or on the rare days when he's not in the forge.
Fun fact! Blacksmiths actually don't wear gloves because it makes them less dexterous at the craft. The exception is apprentices, whose work is sloppy anyway and who are more prone to making mistakes. For them the extra protection is handy. In other words, Techno doesn't use gloves while blacksmithing, but Tommy and Ranboo both do.
Also, Phil is a noble and thus he dresses a lot more flashy. The colors of the kingdom are shades of purple, blue, and white, so that's the colors he dresses in since he's a royal envoy. He almost always wears a cape. And his clothes are more decorated, with gold thread, buttons, jewelry, fancier fabrics and stuff like that.
