I know I should have told you. I probably should have told everyone, actually. Mom’s the only one who knows right now. I don’t think there’s a point to telling them though. It’ll only hurt them more, right?
Hey, remember that time when I was little and I had a really bad nightmare? Right after dad died? You told me that there was nothing to be afraid of, because you would always be there to protect me. And that was always true, I think. When you were away, and didn’t answer my calls, I would listen to your voice mail to make myself feel better. Especially when I had nightmares. It always helped a lot.
You know, maybe I will call. I doubt you’ll pick up, but I can still hear your voice, right?
