character in general: WELL.  Clara is my second favorite companion in all of Doctor Who.  Second only to Rose.  I absolutely love miss Clara Oswald (she’s a complete cutie which is also why I use her for my mun mascot).  She’s completely and totally fantastic.how they play them: I’ll admit I haven’t seen much since we just barely begun following each other about a day or two ago, but from what little I have seen I think you are doing an absolutely fantastic job (which is completely why I followed you back) for this amazing character.the mun: an absolute, wonderful sweetheart who I can’t WAIT to get to know better.

The Doctor wasn’t much of one FOR DOMESTICS in earlier regenerations, and although he still wasn’t fond of the idea of staying in one place for longer than a day or two, he was much more  c o z y  to the idea of popping into his friends’ places for a cup of tea and a chat. Of course, recently it was mostly Clara Oswald’s house he’d pop into.

He’d gone to pick her up after running about a few various planets (having been waiting eagerly for the next time he was to see her), only to be  c o r n e r e d  upon arriving in her apartment with the prospects of tea and biscuits on the couch. He had hoped TO DASH OFF into the TARDIS with her rather quickly, as he had planned to take her somewhere ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING next, he never could turn down tea and biscuits.

But even after they’d finished their snacks, the two had remained slumped down in the couch cushions. It had been  h o u r s  since he first arrived, but it didn’t really feel like it. They had chatted away, watched a little telly. It was easily the MOST DOMESTIC the Doctor had gotten in a long time. It wasn’t really him, but he had been enjoying the time he had with her so much, he didn’t seem to mind.

The sound of the TV lightly chattering in the background had melted into the surroundings of a PEACEFUL NIGHT SKY filling through the windows. He could've sworn it was day just a second ago. Clara’s light, soft snoring on his shoulder made him smile gently. The rhythm of it all seemed to be too much, mixed in with the fact the Doctor hadn’t slept in days, he quickly found himself  d o z i n g  off too.

Nervous didn’t even begin to cover it. In fact, Irene had managed to sidestep ‘nerves’ entirely and land herself smack dab into the land of ‘shock’. She didn’t remember how she’d gotten here. 

Which -- given her rather unique nature left her with several unhappy questions. Namely which consciousness had been in her body before -- and if she was even the real one or a copy. 

The only sightly comforting aspect of all of this nonsense was the fact that, for the first time in a long while she appeared to be on British soil. More modern than she’d like, but what the hell, she’d been playing at being an American for far too long.
