Attended the Composers and Authors Society of Singapore (COMPASS) Awards last week to celebrate the achievements of our local artists, producers, songwriters and composers. I was honoured to present COMPASS’ (Posthumous) Lifetime Achievement Award to the family of the late arts and music veteran, Mr Chang Kwai Ming, and the Meritorious Awards to Musical Arranger & Composer, Mr Samuel Tan Chee Koon, as well as Dr Peter Low, Choirmaster for the Cathedral Choir of the Risen Christ. Also enjoyed great performances by Singaporean artists like M1LDL1FE, Alif Abdullah and Joanna Dong. Let us continue to support our artists as they contribute to the vibrancy, richness and diversity of Singapore’s arts and culture scene.
