a simple greeting as varric sits beside cole atop a wall, looking down at the bustling movement below as people dart from building to building, talking to people and carrying things. he’s glad he’s up here with cole. the always-lingering grief within him is stronger today than normal, but he’d spent a fair amount of time before seeking out the spirit clearing his mind and letting his emotions settle. he lets curiosity and his content blanket his mind.
