UIV è dal 1895 l’associazione delle imprese del vino italiane: vi aderiscono oltre 500 aziende, che rappresentano un fatturato pari al 70% dell’export italiano di vino. Ne tutela gli interessi in sede politica, garantisce lo sviluppo del settore vinicolo in Italia secondo le regole della trasparenza e del libero mercato, promuove la cultura della vite e del vino in Italia e nel mondo. La sua rete di laboratori, con sede centrale in Verona, riconosciuta come una delle strutture all'avanguardia in Italia per tecnologie e mezzi impiegati, garantisce ogni giorno sulla genuinità e sulla qualità sensoriale dei prodotti. La Business Unit “Consulenza-EIQS”, formata da specialisti nell'ambito certificazione, ha accompagnato centinaia di imprese italiane verso l’obiettivo della riorganizzazione aziendale adeguandole ai più avanzati standard internazionali (ISO, GSFS, IFS). Da tre anni UIV ha attivato la Business Unit “Promozione”, che supporta le aziende che usufruiscono dei fondi messi a disposizione dalla misura Promozione Paesi terzi dell’Ocm vino. Il Simei-Enovitis, la più importante fiera internazionale dedicata alla filiera delle macchine per vigneto e cantina, è patrimonio esclusivo dell’associazione, che ne è organizzatore e promotore dalla sua prima edizione, nel 1963. Dal 1928 UIV pubblica il Corriere Vinicolo, punto di riferimento per tutta la filiera, e i Codici di legislazione, che racchiudono tutta la normativa vitivinicola a livello europeo e italiano.
UIV has been the association of Italian wine companies since 1895: over 500 companies join it, representing a turnover equal to 70% of Italian wine exports. It protects the interests in politics, guarantees the development of the wine sector in Italy according to the rules of transparency and the free market, promotes the culture of vines and wine in Italy and in the world. Its network of laboratories, headquartered in Verona, recognized as one of the avant-garde structures in Italy for the technologies and means used, guarantees every day on the authenticity and sensorial quality of the products. The "Consulting-EIQS" Business Unit, made up of specialists in the field of certification, has accompanied hundreds of Italian companies towards the goal of corporate reorganization, adapting them to the most advanced international standards (ISO, GSFS, IFS). For three years UIV has activated the "Promotion" Business Unit, which supports companies that benefit from the funds made available by the measure Promotion of third countries of the CMO wine. Simei-Enovitis, the most important international fair dedicated to the supply chain of machines for vineyards and cellars, is the exclusive patrimony of the association, which has been organizing and promoting it since its first edition, in 1963. Since 1928 UIV publishes the Corriere Vinicolo, dot of reference for the whole supply chain, and the Codes of legislation, which encompass all the wine and food regulations at European and Italian level.
