Animals don't exist for us to use. That's it. When utalitarians, plant-based and welfarists, will see that there's only one true definition of veganism?
The movement is not about "reduction of suffering." The term "vegan," as we know it now,' was hijacked by humans who see animals as profit. Moral supremacy, personal gain? You never see anybody say: "Stop beating women, except for Mondays, and you won't be an abuser. It's best to have 5 imperfect men who try to love their wifes than to have no men who aren't trying to stop the abuse. " No human in their right consciousness would ever say that, so why are you claiming that reduction of suffering will bring emancipation of animals closer? It will only teach non-vegans the same principles of suffering that they already know. They already see animals as slaves for their own gain and promoting them becoming more morally supreme if they would try being "vegetarian" or "vegan" (veganism is not a diet, so it would be more right to say plant-based) hijacks the actual principle that veganism is about animal emancipation and end of animal use, end of humans seeing non-humans as their property, stripping away from the idea that those individuals exist for sole purpose of being used by humans in any way.
"Veganism is the rejection of the wrong principle that animals are resources for human purpose. Not a diet. Not a lifestyle. A line. Cross drew it in 1951. It hasn't moved."
"END the USE of ANIMALS" — Leslie Cross, 1951, "Veganism Defined"
So, quit sugarcoating veganism to be more digestible. Hold others accountable for supporting the enslavement of non-human animals.
Officially forming the theory that the reason more service dog handlers don't use protective gear like boots, goggles, and ear protection on their dog is because the public becomes 3000% more unbearable when they try.
We're all used to "aaaaawwww look the the doggo" when we go out with our working animals, but getting
1. Accosted for pictures (whether folks ask or just invade your space and distract your dog)
2. Pointed at like an exhibit
3. Shouted at (OMG DOGGLES, "why is it wearing that" etc)
4. Actively followed around by strangers
Is downright fucking awful.
I know it looks cool. I know some of our gear is specialized. I know pet dogs don't usually wear/tolerate what SDs learn the wear. But for the love of whatever you deem holy, BE KIND ABOUT IT. All of the actions listed above are just fucking rude. Leave people alone. Leave service dogs alone.
Disabled people can exist without being spectacles
if a girl sends you nudes and stuff and you get off to it, you should be thanking her afterwards, right?? Like that's common sense, right?
No one should be shirtless in public unless it’s somewhere like a beach or a pool or a waterpark.
I don’t want to see a shirtless man jogging in the neighborhood.
I don’t care what your bare chest looks like. Don’t show it in public regardless of your gender or sex assigned at birth. It’s weird.
It’s not because it’s sexual, because it’s not. It’s because it’s impolite.

Cons are meant to be a safe space for everyone. That includes people with preferences you don’t personally like. Going online and being fucking weird about people’s appearance violates that commitment of making cons a safe space for all and I’m sorry to tell you that you are not more entitled to that space than anybody else.
CNN's Van Jones revealed he received a DM from Charlie Kirk for personal dialogue just one day before Kirk's death.
Van Jones: "Charlie Kirk and I were not friends, at all. In fact, the last week of his life we were beefing hard. Beefing online, beefing on air. But the day before he died he did something that shocked me. He sent me a personal message, calling for personal dialogue, wanting me to come on his show. He said we could be gentlemen together. He said we could deal with our disagreements agreeably.
And in the past week and a half just watching people talk about civil wars and censorship and all this stuff coming out of his death, I just thought it was important to let people know — don't put that on Charlie Kirk. Because the last day of his life, he was reaching out to have not more censorship, more conversation, more dialogue with somebody who honestly was one of his adversaries — me.
And I just want to share that with the world and I hope that maybe it might help somebody on both sides deal with issues more like he did."
