#commissions rules

I’ve begun taking Commissions on my tumblr, @hinox-headcanons. I’m in my Senior Year of Highschool and am hoping to start a career as a Freelancer, so I need to begin making money. Any and All Commission requests are greatly appreciated. If you’d like to request one, please message me at @hinox-headcanons on Tumblr so we can work out the details. And please keep in mind that I am still in school, so while I’ve been told that my Commissions get done fast, I may take a day or two to get them done. Thank you for being reasonable.

After I finish all of these open Slots, I’ll be able to take more Commission requests. When negotiating a request, I will ask a few questions so I get the full idea of what you want with your story.

I’m primarily focusing on Breath of the Wild lately, so I’d particularly appreciate imagines for that. However, my Special Interests tend to shift in importance, so I’ll get to Lotr and The Hobbit requests later.

Request Types

Headcanons: You can either request ‘X Reader’ Headcanons or Character Headcanons. The ‘x reader’ headcanons are imagines about how a character, or set of characters, would react to a particular scenario. An example could be “How would (Insert Character Here) react to having a Shy S/O?” or “How would (Insert Characters Here) react to this happening with their s/o?”. Meanwhile, Character Headcanons are notes for a specific character, such as “Nonbinary Revali Headcanons” or “Autistic Link Headcanons”. Stuff like that.

Preferences: Similar to Headcanons, you send in a short description of what scenario you’d like me to write, along with which Characters you’d like me to write for, and I’ll include short paragraphs about how I think they would react to that scenario. The limit is 6 characters for each imagine. An example could be “How would (Insert Character Here) react to having a Shy S/O?” or “How would (Insert Characters Here) react to this happening with their s/o?”.

Matchups / Ships: You send in a description of yourself, however detailed or short you’d like it to be, and I’ll tell you what character I’d Ship you with. You can also request a Creature Matchup, where I’ll tell you what Fantasy or Zelda Race I’d ship you with. In that case, you simply tell me if you’d like a general Creature Matchup, or a Zelda Creature Matchup. When sending one in, please include the following:

- What Fandom you’d want. The options are a general Creature Matchup, a Zelda Creature Matchup, a Zelda (character) Matchup, an Lotr Matchup or a Hobbit Matchup.

- Your Sexuality, Gender Identity and Pronouns must be included. Though yes, Ambiguous or Questioning is a valid option

- Personality, Interests, Hobbies, etc.

- Appearance is not necessarily needed, but can be included if you’d like

- What you find attractive, Dealbreakers, Turn ons and Turn offs, if you’d like to include them

- Whatever you feel is important to include

One-Shots: This is where you request a Character (just one) and a (relatively simple) Story Idea, and I write a very short story about it. It will usually only be long enough to take up one page at most.

Fanfiction: This is where you Request a Story Idea for a Specific Character(s), and I’ll write a story about it. Longer than a One-Shot, fanfiction is usually anywhere from 2 to 4 pages long.

Character Aesthetic Guides: Have a character you like? Want to know how you can emulate them? Send me the character, and if I know them, I’ll write an Aesthetic Guide for them. This could include clothing, hobbies, activities and general ways of emulating them in your day to day life. If I’m unfamiliar with the character, I’ll decline the Commission, so please choose characters from the Fandoms listed above.

- I will NOT write Smut and NSFW

- I will NOT write for Villains

- I will NOT write romantic scenarios for Underage Characters like Riju

- All form of LGBT Imagines are welcome (I’m Nonbinary Bisexual myself)

- Triggering topics may not be included, depending on what it is. Send the request in just to make sure

Prices

All payments go through Paypal, which will be negotiated over Messaging. You can request a Commission even if you don’t have a Paypal account, you just need to have a credit/debit card (or you can use a Parent’s, if you’d like) and an email to send the money through, if you’re interested.

Payment by PayPal, if you’ll like the initial sketches and the progress I’ll keep you updated on, I’ll send you a link before delivering the finished commission.

Since this is my first time, for now I’ll have only two slots opened. And we’ll see how it goes from there!

RULES: (some of these are rules I will follow/ advice for you to take into consideration before commissioning me.)

It is first come first serve - meaning that works will be written in order of who paid first, not who paid the most. I understand that you will want to have yours done sooner if you pay more, but to be fair to everyone, it will go in chronological order.

You must contact me either through tumblr or by email (which will be at the bottom) - when contacting me, I would like to know as much detail as possible for your commission. You’re putting money into this, and I want it to be more than to your liking in the end.

Prices vary considering the piece of work you would like, so please be mindful of what you want, and when you want it. (ex: Someone wants a 10,000 word one-shot done in four days. It could be done, but it would also mean that I would only be able to work on your piece and it may not be the best.)

When in contact with me, I will give you updates on your story. Whether you want spoilers or not, I can either give you word count or an excerpt of where I am at, especially if it is taking a few days or so to finish your piece. Just ask for an update and I’ll get back, but please be patient. :) (side-note…please do not spam me for updates.)

If I am to turn down a request it is either for one of two reasons; you requested something from my DO NOT WRITE list, or I feel like I am not capable of giving you the best work. I will try my best, but I want you as the commissioner to understand I want you to be happy with the end product. If you feel like you still want me to do your commission, we will discuss a lower price.

I am up for debate on pricing, tell me what the highest you’ll go for your request, and I’ll try to match it with my lowest. We want this to be a mutual benefit.

I do have a pricing tier if you want to get an idea of what something might cost.

I will not post anything related to your piece unless you give me permission. This work is for you of course, and if you want only your eyes to view it, that is understandable.
