The thing that is wrong with the DC Universe is that they are trying to be on infinity war level. Now Marvel deserve infinity war, because they have put in so much time and effort into expanding the universe properly and they took their time with it so when it did come to infinity war, it worked and it felt right. DC, on the other hand want to be at the same level but I think they need to understand is that they have to slowly build it up. Yes, you do need a backstory film for every hero if you want the audience to care about the characters. No they may not be on the same level but maybe then they would actually have a level that will eventually start producing big films like the avengers but I think they will have to wait till then.

Before Avengers was made we got two Iron Man films, one Captain America film and one Thor film. We knew the characters and we cared about them before they were all put together in one massive film. With Justice League, we had only really had Man of Steel and Wonder Woman was background films and then Batman VS Superman which didn’t really give anything to the audience about the characters apart from their mums had the same name (sorry I just really hate that film).
