Microsoft's CEO Steve Ballmer described Linux as a cancer back in 2001. These days Microsoft currently runs most of its own servers on Linux, as Windows Server OS is so much slower and less stable. Now Microsoft has released Linux Azure 4.0 a command line only distro integrated with their Azure cloud-based server.
