Today’s subject matter: Inspiring

It’s such a powerful and inspiring thing to see someone be themselves without any apology or lack in confidence.  The LGBT+ community every day continues to astound and amaze me with it’s growth, something I was once scared to consider myself apart of, I am now a loving, supportive and supported member of.  When someone sacrifices their own safety, mental or physical, in order to portray a lifestyle that is perfect, I think it’s... Almost upsetting.... No one should strive for the perfect lifestyle in such a way, the perfect lifestyle is what suits you.  To see someone truly happy is a fucking glorious thing. The smile on their face, the couple of kilos they may of added on to themselves in the process of recovery, it’s a truly inspiring thing.  To go through something so terrible, and to come out the other side still with passions and you heart in mind just blows me away.  You can be anything or anyone you could ever want to be. And you can start right now if you really want.

Such a shame. I am enjoying tiger tiger but while everyone can write a story about pirates…not everyone can create the world of its own. That is why these worlds always prove to be successful- like Harry Potter, Tolkien’s books, etc. There is nothing alike. That is why Prague race always lingered in the back of my mind whenever I thought of some good webcomic. Shame that few words from someone extinguished a fire of passion you had for this project for the past years.

This is actually a super interesting take from my point of view!

Because for me, the world of Prague Race is not a world of my own, but a variant of our world. Almost every creature, every piece of lore already exists somewhere else - trolls, werewolves, even the magic which Untamo and Tapio use is from Kalevala (the finnish epic). This was also one of the main reasons I wanted to start something new, so I could create a world that’s completely my own.

I also just noticed I that I haven’t written it anywhere, but Tiger, Tiger is a fantasy story. Not maybe in a way that people might expect first, but it definitely is. I’m walking very close to the spoiler town here but STILL! This really made me think of how I like to build my stories, and how difficult it is to introduce readers a whole new world where the rules from our world might not apply. With Prague Race it was sort of easy, it was the classic ‘characters stumble into a world of fantasy and everything must be explained to them’ and, to readers at the same time. But how can I show you that the world of Tigers is fantasy too, when something that might be odd to the reader is completely mundane to the characters? I just hope to make all the worldbuilding scenes fun and exciting for the readers! Maybe even SCARY!

I’M JUST! I’M SUPER EXCITED ABOUT THIS YOU KNOW LMAO I’m sorry I’m rambling so much right now but worldbuilding is incredibly fun and I hope to open up the world of Tigers more soon, the first chapter has been all about introducing the characters, how they react to each other and to show Ludovica in her element before throwing her into somewhere where she is totally out of place.
