#JackedKirby - Happy 104th Birthday Joe Simon!!! Joe Simon, writer/artist extraordinaire and one time partner of the King would have been 104 today!!! He was born on October 11th, 1913 and would later go on to partner up with Jack to create The Kirby/Simon Studios! The team create many amazing stories and characters through the years... but none more memorable than Captain America!!! I decided to go with the interior splash from Captain America Comics #Issue9 that was published in December of 1941. What a great story and great opening splash!!! Happy birthday sir!!!!
