「私はきれいですか？」 | "Am I beautiful?"
The story is based on 口裂け女, "Slit-Mouthed Woman" story and this was my version.
I want to thank Lee Wong, who is the male voice actor and did the recording. Also want to thank my classmates (I don't have most of them on Facebook, so they won't be able to see this message) for critiquing it.
EXTRA: This animation was finished an hour and thirty minutes before class (GO ME!). Also got annoyed at having to read my synopsis THREE TIMES and it was the same throughout the whole semester, had to present it THREE TIMES. A woman who was mutilated by her husband and returns as a malicious spirit. Mayumi Sawada, a beautiful wife to a samurai, however she had been cheating on him. When the samurai discovered her treachery, he slit open her mouth from ear to ear, giving her a Glasgow smile, and asked her “Who will think you are beautiful now?” When Mayumi left the world, she came back as a malicious spirit, targeting anyone who is walking home alone at night, asking “Am I beautiful?”. Depending on how they answer, the victim is left mutilated.
