#comet rambles

WOOO! This was really fun to do while experimenting with a new style! I wanted to go back to doing line-less stuff for a little bit while sticking closer to the on model WoF dragon designs.

I really like how this turned out! Even though I did make the comet glow a bit too much - 

SPEED PAINT:

A gentle shepherdess and the caretaker of the Meadow of Dreams.

Her floor is a shop and rest floor, with items to buy (usually recovery and helpful items) scattered across. The Meadow is unnaturally colored, soft pastel pinks and purples and blues. There are constellations always in the sky, regardless of time of day. In the center is a pond beneath a tree with pink flowers. Entering the pond gradually recovers your health.

She is kind, gentle peace-loving soul, very soft spoken. A far cry from Folly's violent nature. Very compassionate and curious, almost naive, though that's to be expected when you're new to an entirely new world you previously had known nothing about. She finds joy and beauty in almost everything around her, only wanting to share this joy with everyone.

She was once an angel created by a goddess as a servant, carrying out messages from the gods to mortals by entering their dreams. She was endlessly and forever devoted to her, loving her the way one would love a mother, but the goddess saw her as no more than a tool. She was far from perfect, and often did not meet the standards she was held to. The goddess of order disliked this greatly.

One day during a celebration of the gods, the goddess was given the gift of a new servant by a friend. One that would be far more obedient than even Lucidia, and would be much better at anything Lucidia ever did.

Lucidia was none the wiser to what was soon to become her fate, happily watching over the celebration she never got to be part of. She didn't mind at all, in fact, she was content with this, though deep within herself she wondered what it was like to be a part of such an event.

That night, after everything had concluded, the goddess called Lucidia for one final task. To purify her soul of sin.

Lucidia was distraught. How could she be sinful? What had she done to ruin herself in this way? Little did she know, the goddess lied to her, to ensure she would never return.

Before being casted away, the goddess could not let her roam free with these false signs of purity. And so the goddess rended away the wings from her back and shattered her halo into thousands of pieces, like fragile glass.

Luckily for her, after an untold length of time of aimlessly drifting through nothingness, she ended up in the Meadow of Dreams.

In this strange unfamiliar world, Folly is among the most curious to her. When they first meet, she knows that she is dangerous, and fears her. But at the same time, she can't help but pity her curse of only seeing sorrow and pain in everything. Her feelings towards her initially are curiosity, but also a mix of fear and feeling sorry for her.
