The Smashing Times are reissuing their debut "Come Along With Me" (2019) on vinyl via Perennial. This was originally issued a few times on cassette.

It's a wonderful, ramshackle affair that is a clear harbinger of what was to come. Comet Gain, Television Personalities, Mick Trouble, Saturday Looks Good To Me - these hallmarks are all there in all their lo-fi glory.

And - this pressing features "newly unearthed tracks [from] deep within the tea chest."

Comet Gain’s LP City Fallen Leaves is being reissued after 20 years. Led by David Christian, they’ve been around since 1992 and are still going.  Their songs are heartfelt and sometimes angry, and they proudly wear their influences on their sleeves:  Go-Betweens, Orange Juice, 60s Mod, Dexys maybe a bit of the Swell Maps.  Oh, and the sound is kinda weird at the beginning, so be patient.

Comet Gain is one of my favorite bands that not enough people know. It’s maddening.
