Dave Attell at The Comedy Store. Circa 2000, me, my brother, and some friends were at Club Rio nightclub in Tempe, AZ. We were watching a talent contest, the kind where someone goes home with a hundred bucks. A frat-looking guy went up and did Dave's act verbatim. We recognized it instantly. The second he would get to a punch line, we would step on it by shouting "Dave Attell!" He ignored us at first but more people recognized Dave's act and joined in. He started to crack. About three minutes in, he put the mic back in the stand and looked like he was about to cry and said, "Fuck you guys!" and left the stage. #comedyjustice #daveattell #hallseries #paidregular #humansofcomedy
