"Two Flaming Youths" is an American silent comedy film released on December 17, 1927 by Paramount Pictures. The film stars W. C. Fields, Chester Conklin, & Mary Brian along with a handful of cameos by many Broadway & vaudeville headliners of the time.
W.C. Fields & Chester Conklin were both former vaudevillians. Conklin spent his early years touring with vaudeville stock companies before working as a circus clown. His most well-known work was in Mack Sennett films. Fields attained international success as a silent juggler. He gradually incorporated comedy into his act and was a featured comedian in the Ziegfeld Follies for several years. By 1923, He had become a star on Broadway in "Poppy". Â
"Two Flaming Youths" had the most complete version of Fields’ juggling act caught on film. Even more than 1934's "The Old Fashioned Way".
"Two Flaming Youths" is a lost film.
