Realistically - logically - Akko should be flying back with Amanda or Diana. Lotte herself even said she’s not a fast flier and to be riding double on top of her lack of speed seems like not the best idea. Akko should totally be with Amanda or Diana who are actually faster fliers, so Akko’s added weight would bring their speed down to average at the most. Now that Akko has an extreme case of anti-yay I think Diana’s previous fortune telling that she would leave leave Luna Nova will come to fruition. Ofcourse her friends won’t let her leave without a fight and will go after her just like Akko left to retrieve Diana.
And honestly Diana has the biggest chance at convincing Akko to return, because she also went to a Chariot show, in fact the same show that Akko went to, and she regained all of her magic. She still has the premium card and the knowledge that no student named Ursula attended school the same time as Chariot that are plot points that have yet to be indulged on

i just finished episode two and yikes. i thought the classic fanservice scattered throughout was bad but the way they pilot the mechs? it’s so fucking gross, the pilots even drop sexual innuendos
