I was preparing to put up some bits to exhibit for the end of the disrupt project and an idea came to me; to combine some of my individual work together to create one piece.

The piece together, has become a human form of the piano, which is brilliant. It is exactly something I had wanted to created for the disrupt project.

It has both 2D and 3D objects making it up, which I really like, I always enjoy the combination of the two.

I also love the surreal way it looks, how it combines both fun and uncomfortable/odd.

I feel the piece, sitting on the chair, reminds me of Marina Abramovic's work, "The artist is present". This is due to the piece having the ability to stare back at the viewer/user.

List of items I have used:

▪️key head and hearts on jacket I made after doing the disrupt/reconstruct workshop (key head on propped up with cardboard).

▪️soft sculpture hands made in the fashion and textile room, while making work there after I did the make your mark workshop

▪️jacket which I marked at the back, from doing the make your mark workshop
