                 trepidation  weighs  on  every  quiet  footstep  taken  during  the  light  tread  to  the  room  down  the  hall  from  her  own.  it’s  late   –––   she’s  not  entirely  sure  of  the  time ;   when  one  wakes  from  a  nightmare,  time  is  not  their  primary  concern   –––   but  she  knows  the  waning  moon  has  found  its  place  among  the  stars,  &  she  can  tell  from  the  goosebumps  rising  on  her  world - weary  skin  that  its  icy  palm  has  firmly  grasped  los  angeles.  there’s  a  tight  grip  wringing  the  tie  of  her  thin  robe,  anxiety resting  patiently  in  bony  digits.  god   ––  she  needs  a  smoke.  something  to  ease  quaking  nerves.  but  marlboros  rest  comfortably  in  her  bedside  drawer,  while  she  stands  uneasily  outside  trevor’s  door.

                                                       &  it’s  too late  to  turn  back  now.

                a  timid  fist  comes  to  knock  once  gently  on  the  door,  before  that  same  hand  twists  the  knob  &  her  entrance  is  obliged  with  a  creak.  there’s  an  incoherent  grumble  from  the  figure  bundled  up  in  the  bed  sheets,   but  she  proceeds  with  little  hesitation  as  she  pads  to  the  unoccupied  side  of  the  bed   (  an  area  not  found  until  trevor’s  given  a  little  push  )   &  crawls  underneath  the  covers.

ok trevor would like all the time & then when liz catches him she covers him up with a blanket to make sure he stays warm & comfortable :’)

makes friends with the neighbors

liz would have like tea with the neighborhood housewives & gossip n shit and then trevor would go out to get the newspaper in his underwear or smthng and yell at the passing neighbor kids

is the adventurous eater

they both are tbh but i think liz is always trying new recipes & then she has trevor taste test everything

hogs the covers at night

trevor does until liz smacks him

forgets to do the dishes

liz would tell trevor to do them while she goes out for groceries or smthng & she’d be pulling into the driveway and trevor would scramble to try n get them done last minute

tries to surprise their partner more often

leaves dirty laundry on the floor

trevor & he always gets reprimanded for it

stays up til 2 AM reading

liz does & then she’s grouchy in the morning so trevor’ll take her book away & make her go to bed at a decent time (even tho he never does)
