“Hero! You can’t just assume everyone wants to be your friend, please stop trying to climb into his lap,” she grumbled, finally getting the dog to sit properly.  Said dog was unrepentant and wagging his tail, smiling up at the new human.  “He didn’t make a mess did he?”

NAILED IT!!

“Well yes, I mean, I - well, I’m not opposed to it, but - I was - “  She stopped, biting her lip as she tried to not pointedly stare at any one spot in particular.  The trouble was, most of the bared flesh was full of spots worth staring at.  Sighing, she found a spot halfway to the ceiling that seemed safe, “A bet, why am I not surprised.”

Caitlin smiled adoringly up at the Commander, arms gently looped at his neck.  She put the tiniest bit of pressure there to encourage him to meet her halfway, kissing him sweetly before pulling away just enough to nuzzle their noses together.

Lian“Umm... Pass. I... The commander is a very handsome man, of course. And honourable. Loyal. Brave. He has plenty of fantastic qualities. But I believe my sister is uhh, interested in courting him. So pass, of course.”

And when he pushed his sleeves up, revealing his forearms, the material of the shirt made tight around his bicep... It reminded Caitlin of how strong he was, how it felt to have those arms wrapped around her... Maker be praised she was already a little pink from the sun so at least she could blame her sudden flushing on that.
