she definitely used to, but now she very strategically and fastidiously employs perfumes, basically the equivalent of PokéFebreeze, and disinfectant wipes (when she just can’t resist petting her giant garbage pal) to mask any trashy smells when she goes into work...of course she is anosmic so she can’t really assess how well this method works for herself, but she gets others (Rose, her League henchmen/members of her secret fanclub, or Leon, depending on which is available) to help her out with that. this process is every bit as silly and weird as it sounds

Koga’s first marriage ended in a divorce. In retrospect, it’s not that big of a surprise for either him or his ex-wife, since they married because she was pregnant. He’s still sore over it, though.

Melony is also a divorcee, but she wears the ring for privacy reasons. She’s currently not looking for a relationship, but if someone extremely fitting came by, she could see herself changing her mind.

Koga is a stern, but encouraging father. She sets high standards for Janine, but he also praises her when she meets them.

Contrary to her type specialty, Melony is very warm as a mother. She’d drop everything for her children. (Matches during gym season might be the one exception, though)

Koga is incredibly happy that Janine took his place as the Fuchsia City gym leader when he was promoted to Elite Four. He couldn’t be prouder of her.

When it’s off season, Melony is an opera singer. She’s way better known as a gym leader though. She’s always amused when she sees tweets from people posting pictures of her televised concerts and being shocked hearing the Circhester gym leader sing.

Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?

I honestly don't think he's the type to remember his dreams often, but I feel like a recurring theme would be just, this idea of wandering. This feeling of being lost and having to find his way, but not necessarily in a negative way since theirs always a guide. I feel like this would be a primary theme in his dreams since that's just, what's currently going on in his life. He's trying to navigate through life and his own feelings and past and such.

Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?

Other than the obvious answer of Giratina, some themes would be, feeling trapped, alone or not being able to do anything. He hates feeling helpless and he's spent a good amount of time isolated from people. I feel like one of his main struggles has been trying to grasp the difference between not being able to change something and realizing it's not worth trying to change something. Like with his parents he felt angry that he couldn't do anything about the situation, but really would it have been worth trying to resolve? He is truly better off without them in the end.

Does your character remember names or faces easier?

Definitely faces, but he's not bad with names either. He basically has a photographic memory so he's good at remembering people.

What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?

He has many flaws, but his irrational attitude is his biggest. When he gets upset, all rationality and thinking goes out the window. He won't think about whether he's wrong or not, he just yells whatever is on his mind without considering the consequences.
