#igquiltfest day 9? Finally finished. So I started this S block quilt at a @kaffefassettstudio colour workshop ( he said I had an original colour palette π€£π³) . I started sewing it together on my mums old 70's singer which decided to die halfway through itπ’. Half the seams are terrible and half loose, and I spent a lot of time unpicking huge rats nests of thread. So it sat until I got up courage to invest in myself and buy a new machine. Four years after I started it, it got finished π€£π€£π€£π€£( although there are some threads that need burying π). This is probably the quilt that gave me the confidence to begin to see that I can create nice things, and that it was ok to take the time to do it for MYSELF. That first workshop with @kaffefassettstudio and @brandonmably was the best. I'm looking forward to one in April ππππ. .
