So, I’ve been working a little bit on a new idea, which I’e decided I will work on until I actually do something with it. Too often have I had a brilliant idea, made maybe two characters and then stopped to do something else.
This idea though, I am genuinely super into!
The basic premise is a Fantasy world after a collapse. An event that essentially ruined the landscape and more notably removed almost all traces of magic from the world.
Except for some choice relics, infused with magic remnants by forward thinking sages and scholars before things went to hell.
So I guess the easy way to explain it is it’s people hunting for magic relics in a post apocalyptic fantasy wasteland?
The lead character of the whole story is the guy up top with the one-eyed mask. He currently doesn’t have a name (I currently refer to him as “Hunter”).
But he’s gone through A LOT of designs and colour tests, far more than I usually do for a character. Even saying this, I feel he should be lankier. So I’m not really done with him.
And the Old woman below him I just churned out during a commission break and the design has stuck because I really love it.
She also doesn’t have a name, but I think I wan’t her to feature in the story in some way.
But yeah, wanted to share this a while back, but I have a weird thing against putting actual work-in-progress stuff, everything must look at least kind of complete... It’s a problem.
Maybe I’ll remember to share a bit more about this as I go. OR I’ll forget entirely. Much more likely.
